The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has revised the tax allocation on iPhones in compliance with the directives of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). This revision entails a significant reduction of approximately 10% to 20% in taxes imposed on the iPhone 14 series. The tax differences vary, resulting in savings ranging from Rs. 9,074 to Rs. 31,562 (on Passport) and Rs. 29,832 to Rs. 34,901 (on CNIC).

For instance, the tax amount on the iPhone 14 has been reduced from Rs. 134,825 to Rs. 125,751 (on Passport), while the tax on CNIC has experienced a notable decline from Rs. 160,958 to Rs. 131,126. Furthermore, individuals can now purchase the iPhone 14 Pro Max at reduced rates, with the tax lowered by Rs. 31,262 (on Passport) and Rs. 34,901 (on CNIC).
